Our Spokane City Council wants to pass an ordinance making it illegal to ship coal and petroleum products over the rail through Spokane.
Come make your voice heard and tell our City Council members to look for reasonable solutions instead of doing the biding of radical national out of state interests. If this ordinance is passed it will likely not stand up to legal scrutiny and subject the city to untold and unnecessary legal costs – wasting our tax dollars. Our City Council prefers radical reactionary policies that would cost jobs and hurt Spokane’s economy over representing our interests.
Please come to the Spokane City Council Chambers 808 W Spokane Falls Blvd #7, Spokane, WA 99201 at 6:00 pm this Monday, July 25 or call the Council at 509.625.6255 and let them know we shouldn’t let politics create bad public policy.
